We are a warm, welcoming, pluralistic synagogue offering a full range of social and educational programs, as well as worship services for Shabbat and Holidays.
What differentiates you from your competitors? What makes you stand out?
Our synagogue strives to meet Jews and the Jewishly-curious wherever they are on their spiritual Jewish journey, and to help make Judaism relevant to their lives. We are a resource for life cycle events, communal support and more.
As you reflect on your time serving Malverne and the surrounding communities, what are you most proud of?
We have become an integral part of the Village of Malverne and participate in many village-wide activities.
How have you benefited from being a member of the Malverne Chamber of Commerce?
Being a member has given us the opportunity to be more visible in the community, and to meet people whom we might otherwise not meet.

For more than 65 years, the Malverne Jewish Center has served the Jewish community of Malverne and the surrounding areas. Rabbi Elkodsi was ordained by the Academy for Jewish Religion in 2015, when she was in her 50s!
